clean, scuff & Mask
We clean the trim, scuff or sand the chrome for proper adhesion, and carefully tape and mask the surrounding vehicle so only the parts being painted are exposed.

ADHESION & PAINT
We apply adhesion promoter, then refinish the trim with automotive paint. Depending on the part and finish, we use either single-stage paint or a basecoat and clear coat system.
Grilles receive an extra-hard clear coat for added durability.

FINAL CHECK
The finished trim and surrounding areas are checked before the job is completed.
WHY WE PAINT CHROME DELETE INSTEAD OF WRAPPING IT
Vinyl is designed as a removable covering and can deteriorate with prolonged exposure to heat and sun, causing it to shrink, dry out, crack, or begin peeling around the edges.
We use automotive paint for chrome delete because we want the trim to look like it belongs on the vehicle — not like something was wrapped over it.
