GENERAL & ON-SITE SERVICE FAQS
Where do you provide on-site service?
We provide on-site service throughout Mobile and Baldwin Counties, including Mobile, Saraland, Satsuma, Semmes, Theodore, Grand Bay, Spanish Fort, Daphne, Fairhope, Robertsdale, and Foley.
We can work at your home, workplace, or another location with enough room for our truck and enclosed trailer. Travel fees may apply for some locations, including appointments across the bay or farther from Mobile. Text your ZIP code for an exact quote.
Do I need to provide power?
No. Our enclosed trailer has its own power and the equipment we need to perform the work. We just need enough level space to safely park the trailer and work on your vehicle.
Do you sell rims or tires?
No. We repair, straighten, and refinish wheels, but we do not sell replacement rims or tires. If your wheel needs to be replaced or you need new tires, those will need to be purchased through a wheel or tire retailer.
How long does the service usually take?
It depends on the service and how much work is needed. A typical curb rash repair takes about an hour per wheel. A full set of wheel painting or more involved services will take longer, and we can give you a better time estimate when we see what you need done.
WHEEL REPAIR & STRAIGHTENING FAQS
Do you remove the tire from the wheel during a repair?
No. For most cosmetic wheel repairs and refinishing, the tire stays mounted on the wheel. We let the air out, move the tire back from the edge of the rim, and protect it while we repair and paint the wheel. Because the tire is not removed from the wheel, its balance is not affected.
Can you repair chrome or chrome-clad wheels?
We can straighten many bent chrome and chrome-clad wheels up to 22 inches. We do not perform cosmetic chrome repair or refinish damaged chrome or chrome-clad surfaces.
Can you fix a cracked wheel?
No. We specialize in cosmetic repairs and painting of wheels and wheel straightening of wheels up to 22". If a wheel is cracked and needs to be welded we refer you to another local business that specializes in welding wheels.
Should I get new tires before or after a wheel repair?
If you already need new tires, have them installed before we repair or refinish your wheels. Tire mounting equipment can damage a freshly refinished wheel, so it is better to have the tire work completed first.
What sizes of bent rims can you straighten?
We straighten eligible bent alloy wheels up to 22 inches. Whether a wheel can be repaired depends on the location and severity of the bend and the overall condition of the wheel.
WHEEL PAINTING & CALIPER FAQS
Is your wheel painting the same as powder coating?
No. Powder coating and automotive paint are different refinishing processes. A curb can damage either finish, so we use automotive-grade paint and clear coat that allow us to refinish your wheels on-site without you having to leave your vehicle at a shop for days.
Will caliper paint affect my brakes?
No. The areas being painted are cosmetic exterior surfaces. The rotors, brake pads, bleeders, and other functional components are carefully masked and protected so they are not painted.
How soon can I wash my car after painting?
Wait at least 24 hours before washing newly painted wheels or calipers. The vehicle can be driven after the work is completed, but the fresh finish needs time before it is washed.
PRICING, PAYMENT & WARRANTY
How do I get a quote?
Text us clear photos of the wheels or area you want repaired, tell us what you would like done, and include your ZIP code. We can usually determine what service you need and provide pricing from the photos.
Do you offer bundle discounts?
Yes. Brake caliper painting is $50 off when it is done at the same appointment as a full set of four wheel repairs or a four-wheel color change. When a wheel is both bent and has curb rash, the cosmetic repair is regular price and the bent rim repair is half price.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. We back our work with a 1-year warranty against application errors such as peeling, bubbling, or paint failure caused by the application process.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, Cash App, Venmo, Zelle, and card payments through Stripe. A 3.5% processing fee applies to card payments.
